Vidya came to the glitteratti relatively late as Parineeta was her first movie (released in 2005) but whereas Rani's first movie was in 1997 (Raja ki Aayegi Baraat) though her first big film was Kuch Kuch Hota hai in 1998.
Plus Rani has acted in more films than Vidya in her career. That may be the reason why Vidya looks fresher than Rani. Sorry, this should have been in movie thread than fashion thread !

Kareena is approaching 31. Why is she still waiting to get married to Chota Nawab  ? Probably they are gonna stay together without a legal binding. I am not a big fan of their relationship. For that matter, I hate all these mid-life crisis guys like Saif, Aamir, Kamalhassan etc. who leave their wife, who stood by them when they were down!! How do these women Kareena, Kiran Rao even trust that these guys will not leave them for someone else! Kamal did do the same to Sarika what he did to Vani Ganapathy! |

Lehenga CholiThough it seems like a saree, Juhi is actually wearing a beautiful Pink Lehenga Choli. I absolutely adore her look.. but is lehenga choli not approp like half saree on a married women. Have heard about exclusive boutiques.. But this one takes it to a whole another level.
I was looking for a particular Designer's collection. I was informed that it may be available online at Absolute Element Boutique. But if I have to see their collection online, I need to "request a pass" by sending an email. And there is an option to Schedule a "Buying appointment" or "Press Appointment" - Whoa, already feel like a celebrity :-)

Samantha looked very graceful at the South India Mall opening. She wore a Net saree over Brocade Petticoat and that seems like a nice combo for net saree. I did not like the shiny look but the overall look was not overwhelming, so it works. I loved the combination of Wine color with Orange&Yellow. Extra brownie points for looking sexy without showing off too much (like Genelia did at the same event and that Gold blouse with hot pink saree, what was she thinking!! Lemme know if you want to see her pic - it is just an eye sore! oh No, I am no fan of Gen or Sam, so I am not being partial here ;-) ) P.S: Nowadays, you are getting Net saree with brocade petticoat. One more thing I dont understand what Gen's stylist was thinking:
Sam's saree had too much of work going on, hence the accessories were kept to min. - no necklace, very few simple bangles. Otherwise, it would have been too much - we understand!
Why no accessories for Gen other than a hanging earring and a watch!! The saree by itself is so bleh!
Gen really needs to change her stylist - She has never got it right with western wear or indian wear in such public events.

Time to discuss abt the Royal wedding. Kate looked adorable in the McQueen Wedding Gown. Such a nice tribute to the late designer.  Of all the things abt the wedding, I loved the cake the most ;-)  |
