Kotha Bangaru LokamA very beautiful movie - definitely must-see. Reminds us of our college days, the innocence, the confidence or should I say over-confidence. The movie moves like a poetry. The comedy sets with the movie well, without a distinct comedy track. At the beginning, Jayasudha explains the feelings of a mom very well.. It is a mixture of feelings when the kids grow up - for a min, you are proud that they have grown up to be independent, but the next moment, feel bad that they are drifting away from you. My complaint about the movie: Though I have a very small kid, couldnt help getting panicky when the movie focuses on how the hero and heroine neglect their studies and exams over their love. Is this what I want my kid to watch and learn - you could skip 30 mins of your exams to be with your lover!! And the scene where the guy hits the back of a girl on a two-wheeler made me get really upset, even though it was supposed to be a comedy scene. There was nothing funny about it. What if these kids tried it in real life and the girl loses balance and gets hit by bus or lorry. And whazzup with drinking cola from same bottle - whatz the big deal about it.. It was in Happy days and then again in this movie.. In our college days, all our friends have shared the same bottle - what the heck does it mean?? The positives: The storyline was sweet and simple. The actors have done their job very well. No exaggerated villains or mobs and sumos, etc. Though your heart aches at few instances, you walk out feeling good at the end of the movie. I liked several scenes in the movie, but here is one where the heroine expresses her happiness of having spent a day with the hero. She immediately narrates her plan as to how they can get into the same Engg. college and then get s/w job each and settle down in life happily forever. It is a beautiful scene - Yemmemmo Pichi Pichi feelings!
