I will go first.. As the name suggests, I am a filmi fan and bollywood appeals me the most Fan of lot of celebrities and their trivia along with filmi sangeet. I was going through a recipe searching phase for a potluck party and when I searched 'potluck', I stumbled across this site. Looks like the site is new but has lot of potential to make new cyber friends On to the next person !!!

Eventhough a nice thread to break the ice, I am not sure, how many people will volunteer their introduction as many consider volunteering any info as intrusive ;D I came across this site by accident. Hope I remain here to get like minded folks in sharing and discussing my interests on books and sports and not leave by accident too Hope this site will remain civil and interesting as many such discussion boards are nice in the beginning and drift away from that civility as they age

#2 and #3 Nice to see few more sports fans here. Same here. Which sports do you watch primarily and which teams do you root?
Indians usually root for Cricket and not many are interested in other global sports, I hope to see more sports fans than just cricket.

I do follow baseball. Big Yankee fan. Hoping for No. 28 this year. Let's see.

This is the first time I am participating in a social networking site. This one looks fairly new. I was searching for Indian Pot Luck dishes / recipes and I landed here. There are hardly any recipes here. I think this might be a good place to start posting my recipes. I have been looking for some place other than email account to store. The recipes are not much enough to create a blog post.
I am little nervous also about the new site. I hope this experience tunrs out to be a good one.

Indian potluck - nice name! Now let me find a comfortable corner to go and start socializing. Btw, who's bringing out the hors d'oeuvres and are there drinks available in this party or only Limca and Rasna?
