I feel DMK should lose so they don't get too arrogant by winning.

My friends say that the things have been better with DMK Rule.. Here is what someone who is my friend's friend posted on his FB status:
"Flyover, Parks, clean roads and METRO every where to continue with the good work Vote for development team ( DMK , PMK and VCK) ..."

And if people have to lose just because they should be toned down, then every political party should take turns so that they dont sit rooted in the chair!! This is not some ladies club or kitty party where some lady's nose should be cut!

Unlike Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha doesn't talk separatism. Wait till the elections are over. If DMK loses, all the folks of TN will have to listen to the words like Mudargal etc. etc. from Kalaignar

I think we can say the same about AIADMK supporters... They always seem to undermine what DMK did during their term. I agree with what Chidambaram said few days ago:

Mr. Chidambaram said that DMK has fulfilled all the promises it made in its 2006 election manifesto and hence he was seeking a mandate for it again. “If AIADMK wants to boast of something as achievement of their government they can only speak of dismissing 1.5 lakh-odd government employees in one go and acts like banning sacrifice of animals in temples etc.,” he said. “During the last five years DMK government has sanctioned Medical College for Tiruvannamalai, started an Engineering College in Arani, Government Polytechnic in Chengam taluk, Arts College in Vandavasi, created new State Transport Corporation region head quartered in Tiruvannamalai. Out of 20 lakh education loans given in India, 5 lakh beneficiaries are from Tamil Nadu.” He said that as many as 12.96 lakh students belonging to Dalit, OBC and minority communities had received education assistances in the State in the last one year alone

After what happened in the last elections, I don't agree with P.Chidambaram on anything. He lost my trust after his "sudden" win.

One of the DMK's plan says that they will generate more power. With all the power cuts we have, what were they doing till now.

They are into movies. Half the movies are made by Kalanidhi Maran or someone in family and have established a monopoly in the movie industry. Does anyone want to see the current CM's movie today. Why does he write stories still.

I don't have high expectations of ADMK but I feel they can't get much lower than DMK.

"About Rs 60 crore has already been seized," a senior election commission official told Hindustan Times, the day Tamil Nadu went to polls. "It is highest seizure of black money for any state elections."

The two main political parties in Tamil Nadu, DMK and AIADMK have accused each other of distributing freebies to voters. AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa went to the extent of claiming that money power can result in booth capturing, which Chief Election Commissioner SY Quraishi terming it an impossible proposition. "Booth capturing by force is history," he said.

But, unofficial estimates is that freebies worth hundreds of crore of rupees has been given to voters in Tamil Nadu. The commission has received complaints that political parties have given motorcycles, bicycles, home appliances and mosquito nets to voters before elections. "We have been told that some religious places have been used to distribute gifts to voters," another senior official said.
