I happen to come across this special dish when I was visited a friend for a lunch invite. I had never heard of cabbage recipe before. The good thing is it was nutritional / tasty and also filling for my family who are not very fond of spicy food.
Ingrediants - Cabbage few green chillies as per taste curds salt oil / mustard / jeera / hing / curry leaves for tadaka a spoon of sugar
Cut the cabbaga thin and long. In a pan, heat oil and put the tadaka items like regular tadaka. Put green chillies. This can be substituted with dry red chillies also. Saute the mix well and half cook it.
Keep it aside for few mins to cool.
Add the curds and red chilly powder if more spice is needed. You can also add little bit of chat masala for extra flovor. Add half spoon of sugar. Kids will like it more this way.
wow, this is my first recipe ever. Feel so excited and happy to post.
In case anybody tries it, pls let me know. I will feel very happy to know.

I ate this Raitha in a recent dinner hosted by friends. Liked it very much for the distinctive taste, so asked for the recipe. 2 cups spinach - Nicely chopped -Steam it to cook and keep it aside to cool 4 BaLaka chillies - Deep Fried and kept aside ( How to make menasinakai balaka is here www.itslife.in/2007/07/menasinakai-balakaMix 1 cup yogurt , salt to taste to cooled spinach, crush the fried chillies nicely and mix with the rest. Because of the fried baLaka chillies, raitha will have unique taste.
