Jayalalithaa revokes Sasikala’s expulsion

Signalling a patch up with her estranged aide Sasikala, who was expelled last year from the AIADMK, party General Secretary Jayalalithaa on Saturday revoked the action.

Accepting an explanation issued by Ms Sasikala, Ms. Jayalalithaa said in a statement here, “V.K. Sasikala has sent a letter to me. She had also issued a statement with the same content. I accept the explanation."

“The disciplinary action against Sasikala is cancelled,” she said.

I really don't understand this. Already TN is getting angry with her. Don't know what happened to the 6 month power cut solution promise.

It's just ridiculous to get back an extra-constitutional authority back into the fold and also insulting the ADMK workers who celebrated her expulsion.
