The Kabaddi World Cup was first played in 2004 and then in 2007 and 2010. From 2010, we have been hosting every year. India is the unbeaten Champion, so far.

Indian eves win Kabaddi World CupIndia won Women’s Kabaddi World Cup after defeating Iran in the summit clash in Patna. India advanced into the inaugural Women Kabaddi World Cup final outclassing Japan by 59-20 in the second semifinals at the Patlipura Sports Complex at Kankerbagh here on Sunday. I hope there is more than one team in the competition . Just kidding. Hope these games find sponsors. That will make sure that players are paid a good sum instead of pittance.

Happy to know that one of our country game, native to India only is taking baby steps. In out apartment complex, during shivaratri, they have arranged few games and out of which Kabaddi was there.
