Educational Reforms in India; small step towards future India As we all might know we have a long way to go in education field to bring our system upto the speed of education of developed AKA western countries.
Yet, we see, hear and expereince smal, not much noticable changes that few people/school/Govt are trying to bring in simply bacuse they don't work as of now but may be useful and effective in future when we see more and more awareness in the public/parents.
Please share whether you have heard/expereinced any such changes in the education system in India. Finally a good education system defines the future of a Country, and N/Korea is the live example for the same. Lets encourage these tiny steps at least virtually

Some schools in India are now offering SMS alert when ward(student are generally referred as ward here) is picked and dropped off. This service is offered at additional cost in some elite schools. But given the safety issues and the remote areas where these schools are located, I find this is extremely useful and appropriate. A school should first consider the safety of the kid.
