If not for TOI, where would I have got such important update, yaar!! come on.. Yes, neither would you have got the updates about the patch up between Farah's husband and SRK. Since both of us are mentioning Farah's husband instead of mentioning his name, may be we are not ardent readers of TOI. Otherwise, we would remember his name too .

oh, here are some trivia Q&As related to this slapgate that I learnt from TOI - I guess, if there was a jeopardy in India, these would be double jeopardy - daily double questions (1) who were the only 3 witnesses at Farah Khan's wedding? Farah's bro Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and THE Shahrukh Khan (2) what is the name of The Shahrukh's residence where the infamous slap-gate was resolved? Mannat (3) Who were the key-initiators in this very significant reconciliation effort? Sajid Khan(Farah's bro) and Gauri Khan(Shahrukh's wife) Oh btw, the ones who are curious to know Fara's husband's name - It is Shirish..

And speaking of Hindu paper, I always hated their website - it looked sooo archaic and complex to navigate.. Now, they seem to have revamped it - Me likey! Go ahead, take a peek - www.thehindu.com/Hindu is also going on the TOI route . They had an article about Kolaveri song on the first page. Next day, there was flood of letters (Letters to Editor section) questioning Hindu's new standards. I also feel there was an ulterior motive to publish line by line translation of what Nakeeran had written about Jayalalitha (where Nakeeran had mentioned that Jaya eats beef).

Hey, that is no fair.. I am ok if the paper gives in for a little bit of hype, just not be full of it.. As a paper, I always felt that they did a good job. You must be just saying that 'coz your Jaya was portrayed in bad light!! We all need to do some intervention and help ya get over this crush on J, man!!

You must be just saying that 'coz your Jaya was portrayed in bad light!! We all need to do some intervention and help ya get over this crush on J, man!! I think they went overboard. Other newspapers reported it only as Scandalous report and didn't delve into details. Hindu did line by line translation. I have always had a problem with The Hindu after N.Ram took over. I never liked the support he gave for LTTE and also his communist philosophies. I think the article had more to do with N.Ram's hatred for Jaya than anything else. Let's see what happens to this case zeenews.india.com/news/tamil-nadu/jaya-vs-n-ram-tn-court-to-hear-defamation-case_755053.htmlJaya has been doing well. Now that Sasikala is out, I see bright prospects for Tamil Nadu. For a start, try visiting Chennai after 1 year or so. I am sure that the roads would have improved by then.
