Jagjit Singh, We will miss ya

Jagjit singh passed away on Monday morning due to brain haemorrhage ..

Oh my God, can't even imagine that we will no longer be able to hear his voice live... This is so sad.

Especially, being a lover of sad songs, I will miss his pathos songs - no one can portray pain like him. We will miss you.

All good songs. Even the one in sarfarosh was very good. Read in another board about his daughter commiting suicide, his young son passing away in 1990 which forced his wife to stop singing. That explains the sad tinge in all his songs after 1990.

I have seen Jagjit Singh giving lots of confidence to upcoming singers when he was a Guest / Judge on Saregmapa shows.
