Interviews are always the most stressful part of a hiring process. Be it the interviewer or the interviewee. I always thought that stress was more on the interviewee as the error tolerance is pretty low. One small mistake and your interview is a failure. So how does one cope up with the rejections? How does it and how much does it affect one's confidence? A candidate can be rejected for various reasons. Its usually easy to accept such rejections in the early part of the process but when one goes through several grueling rounds and then gets eliminated, it really HURTS! The process of rebuilding is quick if there's another opportunity in the pipeline but if not, one might get absorbed in a cocoon with low self-esteem and confidence. So, how are the different methods to cope up from such rejections? What methods do you use? Feel free to share your experiences.
