I think some of you ladies have misunderstood the question. Its about how to dress up for an interview and not how to turn gay!

:-) Wouldn't that be funny to turn up in to interview in leggings .. Oh come on, Russell Brand is soooo not gay! In case you forgot, he is married to Katy Perry Ok, letz talk about Interview attire. For Women, * No heavy makeup, too much religious things, or glittery & heavy-embroidery in dresses. * Wear light colored salwar - simple white or off-white ones with small borders or prints. Cotton would wrinkle quickly and may not look good after travelling for 1hr-2 hr in traffic in India. * Do not wear long hanging ear-rings and too much bangles - no bangles are best. May be simple bracelets would work better. * Nail color should be very light-colored. No bright/dark shades. * Wear shoes with heels but remember that the floor is hard floor in India, so try to wear ones that are not too high and make noise when you walk.

I have worked with a gay guy at my workplace - he is my friend. Trust me, there is no way I could have said he is gay by his dressing sense. Very rarely he would wear, slightly pinkish tones or something. But even then that would be some crisp shirt. Come on guys, stop judging now :-)
