(1) Super Clean & tidy home (2) Hot meals, freshly prepared and very tasty with lot of variety (3) Participate in kids education, homework, schoolwork, volunteering at school, etc. (4) Take care of in-laws and relatives (especially husband's) (5) Throw great entertaining parties
Now, please dont give me run of the mill response like "all of the above".. If you need to prioritize, how would you do it? I would prefer to get some responses from guys as well, to understand what men expect.

Also on a side note, would you worry about cleaning your house as much as throwing a party and planning a menu, if your friends were not dropping in or judging?

For me, cleaning the house is very very important. I hate travelling because I need to clean the house and arrange everything back after we come back home - it is sooo much more work. Everything else comes next to me.
About whether I care about what my friends say - yes, it will impact me. I will be upset if someone comments anything bad about how I maintain my home.

For me, my family comes first. Taking care of their food, education, bringing-up is more important than how my house is kept, what others comment about my home, etc.
I know what is best for my family - wagging tongues can keep talking :-)

Initially cleanest house was my wife's priority. But over years, it became the least priority for her and kids took over. In-laws, relatives can't say much because we live far away to be affected by daily interactions. In my opinion, men usually don't care much on appearance of their house or what the society thinks about their family, how the party be arranged etc. It's usually ladies who bheja fry themselves and their spouse's on such matters. Men only expect great service for them through hot meals and

A good home maker is the one who manages both home and outside ;D
Seriously, we should stop differentiating between home chores, outside taks etc.
Work is a work is a work as long as you do it with your full heart:)
