It will be summer soon and kids would love to head to the water park. For people living in East Coast, Sesame Place fits the bill.
Having lived in New Jersey almost for a decade. Have visited Sesame Place regularly from 2005, this review is from many visits we have had since 2005.
Website :

Tickets :
They usually have a 2-day ticket for the price of One. That's the most popular and the price of the ticket goes up every year .
Getting There :
Sesame Place is located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. It's almost on the border of Trenton, New Jersey. For the folks from New Jersey/New York who hate driving, they can take a train to
Trenton and take the 127 bus ( www.septa.org/schedules/bus/pdf/127.pdf ). It takes a long time by bus. You would be better off taking a cab from Trenton to Sesame Place (around $25 to $30)
This is a perfect place for children between 2-10 years.
Wet Rides
For the little ones (toddlers), there is
Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave
Ernie’s Waterworks
Count's Splash Castle
Kids can get drenched or sit and splash water in the above places.
For older kids, there are other rides like
Bert & Ernie’s Slip & Slide
Sky Splash
More information on the rides can be found here.

Dry Rides
The dry rides consists of a Roller Coaster (Vapor Trail) and few other small rides like Carousel. There's also a meet and greet (at 1-2-3 SMILE). I have found out that Elmo is the busiest amongst the lot.

Shows :
Amongst the shows listed here, Elmo's world is the most popular. The seats get filled in fast. Reach there 30 minutes in advance.

Parade :
Sesame Place puts up a decent parade. Don't expect Disney but the parade is good enough to keep the Elmo, Big Bird fans interested.
Tips:
Please note that it's a Water Park with a very few dry rides. They don't advertise it as a Water Park, so that you end up buying Swim Diapers at the prak .
Bring your swimwear, water shoes etc. for the children.
Bring your own food. The theme parks make their money on food and beverages. Not much choice for vegetarian food either at this theme park.
Time your visit so that it's around 90 degrees in the East Coast area. You will enjoy it the most and wouldn't want to come out of water.
