Question for People who are familar with Silk Smitha saga. Vidya Balan is starring as Silk Smitha in Hindi movie called 'Dirty Picture'. Rajnikant fans supposedly contacted the producer to not reveal what happened between him and Silk.. Is that true that something happened  ? I had thought Rajni was not a womanizer like Kamal.. |

Very interesting. I didn't knew that something might have happened between Rajani and Silk Smitha. All I know is that Smitha was once famous item(club) dancer in almost all south Indian movies. Later she committed suicide. The ex -wife of Prakash Raj(Rai) is Smitha's sister. |

Rajini has had his own share of problems earlier. One of the rumors I know about Rajini is that he almost went on to marry Amla (Nagarjuna's wife now). |

So agree with Rajni had to face his set of demons.. The wedding betn Lata and Rajni by itself was supposed to be very controversial.. He went thro a horrible phase with drinking problems, etc... So, Smitha could have been a part of his problems at that time.

I saw Agneepath recently and hated it : )
No logic for the timeframe set in 1993 when the story starts in 1977 !
