I feel like this thread is going down the Clinton lane :-) Why do we need good looking politicians! We need honest and performing Politicians! And when I say performing, I definitely dont mean "Clinton's policy" I tell you, the thread is going in a perfect way. Looks are important for politicians because they pose in TV 24hrs more than a celebrity. At least it will be soothing to eyes for having seen good looks than pot belly.

I read rediff's sheila bhatt's political analysis time to time. According to her, there is a growing unhappiness in the congress insiders that Rahul has not shown what it needs to excel at top level (means either he is a simple human being than the plan hatching grand mother or his own mother or he is not into understanding the complexities of a active political life).
If those perceptions are true, will he be another MMS in the making? Like he has good intention but will not succeed in the long run in improving the nation in reducing the current corruption trends?
Personally I feel, post independence India needs ruthless leaders like Sardar to right/anchor the ship. I wish Narendra Modi had acted more responsibly during Godhra riot to be not blemished forever. He has some the qualities in being ruthless to bring India in par with China in attacking grass root problems of the poor and middle class but because of his checkered past, he will never become a PM.

He will become a PM but I want NaMo to become PM with a clear majority and take some harsh decisions which will help the country in the long run. If it's going to be coalition govt., then Nitish would be a better choice.
